Who Am I?

Hi, my name is Htoo. Alternatively, can call me Franzy.

I am just trying to build applications, solving problems and explore new technologies along the way.

Started my career as Software Engineer at 2014. Since then technology has been envolved a lot. While studying the various technologies, I fall in love in microservices and concurrent processing. I have been experimenting and would write blog post about it in future as information sharing.

Coming from the hardware background, I love building custom desktop PC. Pick my favourite components and building from scratch is one of my taste in technology.

Last but not least, I have been studying blockchain technology and I believe it will bring exciting possibilities.

TeamSpirit Singapore Pte Ltd, Singapore 2019-Present

Manage and lead a team of 8 members and in charge of developing PSA (Professional Service Automation) module which is part of the SaaS application hosted on the Salesforce platform. Work closely with the designer, QA and project manager to make sure that roadmap goals are achieved as planned. Focus on customer experience and always work with a good UI/UX experience in mind. Initiated a team culture where innovation is well welcome and speculation becomes reality. Release planning is done with room for innovation. Team members including myself often share proof of concepts which could potentially be included in the product roadmap and used by tens of thousands of daily active users.

Senior full stack developer for SaaS applicant tracking system for recruitment agencies. Mainly focus on developing Java backend endpoints & frontend with Angular in agile development life cycle. Specialize in Elasticsearch for readily scalable and enterprise-grade search engine. Used Ansible and Atlassian Bamboo for CICD.

Developer for online learning management and lecture recording system which is used by both government and private institutions in Singapore. Final Year Project, Ntu, Singapore 2013-2014

Make use of the existing algorithm that can score image without human help, developed a desktop application with Matlab. Integrated with Google image search as extended feature which compare first 10 images from the Google image search and calculate the scores.

Developed full-stack using django python framework. Used HTML, JavaScript and bootstrap for frontend interface and PostgresSQL for database. At the integration phase, worked as a liaison officer between frontend and backend developers.

Developed Matlab program to automate the process of transforming the raw eye tracking data into the standard data format and did the data analysis.
